Good Morning,
This poem was last used way back on November of 2016 and, bears repeating from time to time. It goes like this:
BUILD A BETTER YOU
"Your task is to Build a better world" said God.
I answered: how?
The world is such a large vast place, so complicated now.
And I so small and helpless am - -
there’s nothing I can do.
And God in His great wisdom said,
"Just build a better you!"
Sometimes, we spend all of our time trying to change others in order to change the world. In reality, change starts at home, from within. Let's each commit ourselves to becoming the best person we can be. Yes, we can change the world, one person at a time. That change starts with each of us.
This week, let's be agents of change,
Jim
PS: I first heard this poem from a friend of mine, Wendell Richardson back in 1974 when he was President of the Ohio Jaycees. Although it is officially listed as anonymous, to me, he was the inspiration.
