Last weekend to sign up for the REV!

The Revolution turns 21 on Saturday, May 13th. Again, this year we will be in wine country – back at the Hyatt in Santa Rosa with a post ride festival with great food, drink, music. There will be a lot to celebrate – surviving Covid, BORP’s recent program growth (adaptive climbing, kayaking, wheelchair rugby), and a bright future with the appointment of BORP’s next Executive Director. Who could it be? – come find out at the REV, and look for a press release next week. We need everyone to come out to support BORP’s strong menu of adaptive programming: ride, stroll, roll, or volunteer. Click HERE to register.

Adaptive Kayaking

Hello Paddlers!

Starting on May 5, we will be accepting reservation requests for Fit Appointments and the following Paddle days:

  • Monday, May 15, 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Fit Appointments only
  • Monday, June 5, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Paddle Day
  • Sunday, June 18, 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Paddle Day

Future kayak Paddle Days will be added throughout the season, please check the BORP Calendar

Fit Appointments are an opportunity to see the space, learn about our adaptive solutions. They usually last about a half an hour. They are not required, but strongly recommended if adaptive kayaking is new to you.

Paddle Days are fun times when many paddlers kayak independently around the Aquatic Park lagoon. We launch in ~20-30 minute intervals and will help with transfers, adaptive fit, boat moving and more.

To request a reservation for either, email kayak@borp.org or leave a message at 510-256-3533.
