The Front Door Agency Thanks You!
A heartfelt thank you to all that supported the Get-Well Buddy Bag drive. Whether you selected items, purchased them, dropped them off, sorted them and checked the family bags, it was greatly appreciated. We were able to collect over 320 items that were distributed among the 18 FDA families and The Mary’s House. The FDA was very excited to receive the bags especially since they had many kids that were in different stages of sickness. Thank you again!
Thank you do our organizers and packers (from left to right) Mary O'Reilly, Marilyn Kantargis and Peg Wehner.

March 17: CGS Book Group Discussion
Bastille Day: A Novel by Greg Garrett. Recommended by CGS Parishioner and Vestry member, Sarah Patton. “With brilliant pacing and gorgeous prose, acclaimed novelist Greg Garrett tells the story of American TV journalist Calvin Jones, who travels to Paris to work with a producer friend he knows from their dark days covering the war in Iraq. Garrett’s characters wrestle with the ghosts of their pasts, as they long for love, friendship, and faith in the present. Bastille Day is a gloriously affecting novel about how our histories can damage us, but hope can heal us. (www.paracletepress.com)

A Lenten Message from the Bishop
In his 2024 Lenten message, Bishop Rob suggests that the liturgical season is not about giving up sweets or starting a diet—both of which are focused on the self, but rather "Ash Wednesday and Lent are the turning points of the year when we look out from ourselves and discover who we are in our relationship with others, especially those who do not comfort us because they reflect our own tastes, race, leanings, learnings, or choices."
