We had a wonderful time meeting new students and their families at Orientation last weekend! If you attended Orientation last weekend, we would love your feedback. Please take a few minutes to complete our survey. Your input will help us address any remaining questions and improve the experience for future Orientations. Thank you!
Check-in will be inside the main entrance from 8:15 a.m. - 8:55 a.m.
To expedite the check-in process, we ask that parents/guardians complete the questionnaire below. Those who do not complete the form before check-in must undergo an additional security check upon arrival.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes, as you will be moving around campus. While the weather may be warm, the air conditioning in the building will be on, so we recommend bringing a sweatshirt or light jacket.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, but there are also water bottle filling stations throughout campus for those who wish to bring reusable water bottles. We kindly ask that all other food and beverages stay in the designated refreshment areas.
A folder with information for each session will be provided upon check-in. Feel free to bring any other note-taking tools. Most of the information can also be found in the Orientation Portal. (Password: NSO2027)
Meet the Campus Safety Team
Some of you may have met our Campus Safety Team over the weekend, but we want to introduce you to the people who help keep IMSA safe. Our security officers are on campus 24/7, year-round. They check in guests, monitor security cameras, and conduct rounds throughout the buildings and grounds. Meet some of our lead officers below.
IMSA uses a safety and notification app called LiveSafe, which offers a range of features including emergency alerts, the ability to submit safety or maintenance concerns, and a Safe Walk feature. When students walk to local restaurants or stores, they can activate the GPS-tagged Safe Walk, allowing a designated contact to track their progress until they arrive safely at their destination. The LiveSafe app is also how students and staff will receive emergency alerts for things like severe weather or building closures.
