We have spent the last 40 days preparing for the one special day of Easter. We have fasted, prayed, repented, and sacrificed as we have journeyed with Christ to the foot of the Cross. The Gospels tell us that Christ rose on the third day, triumphing over sin and death. This miraculous event proves that if we trust in God and His plan for salvation, we, too, will have everlasting life.
On behalf of OLG School and Parish, thank you for partnering with us in the education of your children. May your heart be filled with love as you follow Christ on His journey to the Resurrection.
Happy Easter!
Deacon Mike McGinty
Please note that the Easter Mass times are different: Saturday at 8:00 PM and Sunday at 7:00 AM, 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 5:00 PM.

COVID Update
As of March 1st, the CDC changed their guidance for how COVID can be treated in schools. Last week, the MDH updated their guidance to reflect these changes. These changes were decided upon based on the following criteria: fewer COVID hospitalizations and deaths, the availability of COVID vaccines and effective treatments, and high levels of immunity within the population. Moving forward at OLG, if your child has a known case of COVID:
-
Stay home when you are sick! Like other illnesses, you must be 24 hours fever free without the use of fever reducing medication to come to school
- If symptoms are improving and your child can participate in daily activities there is no longer a 5-day quarantine for positive cases
- There is no testing, masking or quarantining requirements for close contacts or exposures.
- Stay up to date on all immunizations
These changes are effective immediately. Questions? Contact the OLG Nurses.
