Another Quick Progress Update

Hello Friends,

Things are incredibly busy here, but we've written another short newsletter today to share our progress towards opening and our current open positions.

You may have also noticed that we’ve officially changed our website and Instagram to say we’re opening April 2024. We really (really!) hope this is the last time we need to do this, because we are getting so close to being able to welcome cats into the space! (The final step before we can start the soft opening phases.)

Our incredibly beautiful built-in bookshelves have been installed and painted! Our micro-bookstore is very close to being completed, with only final paint touch-ups and a few finishes remaining before it will be ready for books. (Hooray, books!)

In the photos above and below you can see more wonderful craftmanship by Sagamore Select to transform reclaimed heart pine into wonderful, completely custom pieces for the cat lounge. We can't wait to see cats interacting with the floor-to-ceiling "catification" we're creating for them!

Next Steps at 80 Charles Street:

Over the next two weeks, we expect to see:

• our countertops and other reclaimed heart pine elements stained and finished
• installation of our coffee equipment
• more inspections, including electric and the lift
