County of Nevada Secures $10 Million in Strategic Growth Council's

Community Resilience Centers Grant

We are delighted to announce a significant achievement for Nevada County and three co-applicants, who have been awarded a substantial $10 million in funding through the Strategic Growth Council's Community Resilience Centers (CRC) Implementation Grant. This grant marks a pivotal step towards enhancing the county's resilience and sustainability efforts, ensuring a brighter and more secure future for its residents

Mendota Unified School District Awarded $3.4 Million in Early Education Grant

California Consulting, a leading grant writing agency, is pleased to announce the successful award of a $3,400,000 Inclusive Early Education Expansion Grant to Mendota Unified School District (MUSD) from the California Department of Education (CDE). This achievement reflects the collaborative efforts between our team and MUSD's administration in crafting a winning application that addresses the critical need for inclusive and accessible early education opportunities including children with severe disabilities.

California Consulting Lands Several Awards for Clients in May

The City of Sand City has received $1,960,000 from the AMBAG - Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments: Carbon Reduction Program! Senior Project Manager Shari Herbold and the city's administration teamed up to write the winning application. Congratulations to everyone involved!

The City of Bell has been awarded $349,950 from the Department of Toxic Substances Control's Equitable Community Revitalization Program Grant! CC Senior Project Manager David Marquez teamed up with the City's administration to secure the winning application. This funding will support initiatives to revitalize and enhance our community. Congratulations to everyone involved!

The City of Irwindale has received $200,000 from the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program with PrepareCA Match! Project Manager Michelle Ferguson teamed up with the city's administration to write the winning application. Congratulations to everyone involved!

The City of Bell has been awarded $176,800 from the Dept of Justice-Bureau of Administration's Small, Rural, and Tribal Community Body-Worn Camera Grant Program! Senior Project Manager David Marquez teamed up with the City's administration to secure the winning application. Congratulations to everyone involved!

 The City of Bell receives $51,000 in FEMA grants through SHSP National Priorities Requirement 2022! Thanks to CC Senior Project Manager David Marquez and the city administration for their efforts in the winning application.

Thrilled to announce that the City of Bell has secured $48,000 from LA Metro's Open Streets Program! Kudos to Senior Project Manager David Marquez and our administration for their collaborative effort in crafting the winning application. Congratulations to all involved!

Mendota USD received $30,000 for the No Kid Hungry Grant.

Our team participated in the ACSA Honoring Our Own Awards Dinner on May 25th, where our Management Assistant, Clay Owens, represented us. It was a privilege for us to support this event which recognizes the outstanding contributions of ACSA's members, education leaders, as well as Superintendents and Administrators from various school districts.


Clay was in attendance and had the opportunity to engage with various key figures, including ACSA Region 18 Executive Director, Tom Teagle. We look forward to continuing our commitment to such essential events that highlight excellence in education and community dedication.

Through this opportunity, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) seeks applications for funding law enforcement agencies, prosecutors’ offices, and correctional agencies performing law enforcement functions to purchase or lease body-worn cameras (BWCs) to establish or expand comprehensive body-worn camera programs with a specific and demonstrated plan to implement this technology to maximize the benefits of BWCs. Funding under this program also supports agencies with existing BWC programs that are seeking to improve the management, sharing, and integration of digital evidence generated from BWCs; optimize how prosecutors leverage BWC footage to improve operations; or use BWC footage to enhance officer training or constitutional policing practices.
