NOVEMBER 2021
LET'S PULL TOGETHER
We have enjoyed an amazing fall on the water in Saskatchewan, with the highlight being our first sanctioned Head Race in the province, the Head of the Sask September 11, 2021. Special thanks to our amazing officials and volunteers who made the event the success it was. We also want to highlight the support that we received from Sask Lotteries for this event.

Our focus as we move into the winter months is on spreading the joy of indoor rowing across the province. Our travel trailer filled with ergs will be heading out to schools and community centres to share what we rowers already know: erging is fun! We have a great training program planned for the indoor season that can be accessed remotely from any part of the province. The erg series is already set and you can access your full training plan by registering with the club nearest you. Email Nicole at skrowoffice@gmail.com to find out more.

Our High Performance athletes have just returned from the National Rowing Championships at Elk Lake in Victoria. Congratulations to all of our crews for their efforts and our coaching team of Andrew Knorr, Kate Morstad and Elana Gelineau. Winning gold in the Junior Men's Pair were Grayson Laycock and Max Pally from the Saskatoon Rowing club, and taking silver in both the Lightweight Men's single and U23 Lightweight Men's single, was Thomas Markewich of the Regina Rowing Club.
