Important Dates, RITI Recap, Youth Groups, and more!

Can you believe we're already making our way steadily through the spring season? Hope you're all soaking up those longer days and nice weather. Check out these important dates coming up for Youth Ministry!

Spring Break: March 10 - 16

A reminder that youth programming will be on a break from March 10 - 16. Alison and Nicole will be out of office during this time. Programming will return Sunday, March 17th for Youth Sunday School and Youth Groups.

Service-Learning Trip Registration: March 18

Registration for our Summer SLTs will open up on Monday, March 18th! Be sure to check your email or phone for the text blast to get yourself signed up. Registration deadlines will be May 3rd for CYF and June 7th for Chi Rho.

Youth Stock Sale: April 7, 14, 21

It’s time to kick off our annual Stock Sale in April! This important fundraiser helps support our upcoming Service-Learning Trips that we’ll be attending this summer. Mark these dates in your calendar. More details will be sent late march with information on how to sign up and participate.

WOW! UCC Youth knows how to do a Service Night. What a great turn out last Sunday to help support and cook for Room in the Inn. Biggest shout out to our elders, youth sponsors, and most of all, ALL OF YOU who made this such a great success. Click the button below for more:

If you haven't participated in our Youth Fundraiser Survey, please take a moment to complete this short form. We encourage 100% participation from ALL youth and handbell families, regardless of past volunteer involvement. This survey is completely anonymous.

Youth (grades 6-12) are invited to join us for Sunday School! This semester we'll be digging into a new curriculum called "Groove". Every week we'll be discussing a new topic and how our faith is intertwined with the word or topic!

Over the next three weeks we'll explore God's grace through our doubts, stresses and fears - the perfect subject for the holy season of Lent! As always, we'll spend a little time checking in before diving into our conversation.

This Sunday for our Discussion Night we'll be talking about Faith in the midst of our relationships with God and with others. We'll be addressing questions like, "If God isn't a person, us our love for God platonic, romantic, or something else?" and "How does our faith affect our relationships with others?"

We hope you can join us for a game, some great discussion, and devotion time on Sunday! See you then!

We'll conclude our time with Snack Supper from 6:00 - 6:30 PM.

Lake Brownwood Christian Retreat | July 8-13, 2024

Christian Youth Leadership Seminar (CYLS) is a week-long camp for Disciples of Christ high schoolers who have completed 9^th - 11^th grade. This incredible camp helps high school youth grow into leaders of the church by teaching and molding leadership skills, whether they are using them to plan a camp or taking an active role within the church.

Many of our UCC Youth have participated in this camp in previous years, and they come back feeling filled up and geared up to serve both inside and outside of the church. To learn more about this amazing opportunity and to register, click here or talk to Alison about what this camp is all about.

Snack Supper Volunteers

Sunday Evenings | 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM
