On 4/11, Sally Russomanno donated her fabulous home to host this fun event to raise money for summer camp scholarships to the JCC. Not only did we have a fun evening, NCJW Kendall earned over $1,000 to provide camp scholarships so that children who could not afford it, can have this terrific opportunity to have a wonderful summer camp experience at the Alper JCC.
Thank you to our fantastic speakers: Headliner Ilien Hechtman, Nutritionists Sheah Rarback and Susan Malca, and Trainer Maribel Gonzalez for sharing their wealth of information on life choices, food choices, and exercise which will have a tremendous impact on our health.
Candy Fien, Harriet Friedman, Sharon Helenewski, Sally Russomanno, Jen Resnick, Susan Malca, Vicki Einhorn and Carole Bernstein made “mostly healthy” soup, snacks and delicious desserts.
We were so fortunate to have terrific raffle prizes donated by Renee Kababby, Maribel Gonzalez, Ilien Hechtman, Sue Ann Hosang from I Beyond Pilates, and Courtney Einhorn which included: weight training classes, cooking classes, Pilates classes, a beautiful mug, cutting board, mini Cuisinart, and 3 sets of hair care products. Courtesy of the Alper JCC, attendees received a free 3-day trial of exercise classes and other fun activities at the JCC.
