Bid on More Silent Auction Items!

The annual MPH Spring Gala was a huge success! Part of the success was having so many items donated to our silent auction; so many, in fact, that we are holding a second auction! Massages, trips, baskets and family activities are just a few packages available. Items will be up for grabs until June 1, so don't miss out!

MPH Ice Cream Challenge Ends May 31!
Can we get our Parent Participate rate to 80% or higher by May 31? If so, we'll celebrate with an all-school ice cream party!
A strong Annual Fund is a hallmark of a thriving independent school. Simply put, MPH is possible because of the philanthropic participation of all its members – trustees, alumni, past parents, grandparents, faculty/staff, and current parents and students. While tuition is the main revenue source for the school, it only covers a portion of the school’s yearly operating costs. Through the Annual Fund, you can make an unrestricted gift, to be used where it is needed most, or restrict your gift to a program that is important to you, such as tuition assistance, faculty compensation, arts, or athletics. Join us with a gift today!

If you would like to help us secure these challenge funds (and surpass our Annual Fund goal!), make a gift today! Click here to read our “Meet MPH’ feature on the Matt/Lott family and their connection to MPH.

Reminder from Nurse Christine: Schedule Physicals Now
Please schedule your student’s yearly physical and necessary vaccinations now to avoid a mad dash in August and September. New students in all grade levels, and current students who will be entering Grades K, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11, are required by New York state to have a physical on file in the Health Office. Athletes need an exam on file that is within 12 months of the start of the season. There are also specific vaccinations required for Grades K, 6, 7, and 12. Please communicate with your child’s health care provider or the school nurse, Christine Civello, if you have any questions about what is due or whether your child will need a physical. Thank you!

REMINDER: Check for Ticks
It's that time of year and want to remind our community to be vigilant for ticks. Our health office recommends purchasing a tick spoon for swift tick removal should you spot one on yourself, your student, or pet (see photo of cute puppy Rus - a big fan of the spoon).
Younger students may also find this crossword puzzle useful for identifying ticks and what to do if you see one.
