There is a saying, "April Showers bring May Flowers." Oh, what a magnificent sight to see after enduring the rain showers, the clouds, and the cloudiness of the pandemic season.
That is the way life is when we are going through the rains of grief, the rains of job loss, the rains of health issues, the rains of depression, etc.
If you keep your faith and hold
on, the sunshine and the flowers
will soon follow.

Your life's goals may appear to
be "moveable" at times, and your planned specified goal timeline
was changed due to some unpredictable phenomenon.

Just don't forget about your goal vision and Self DRIVE; and let
God do His work in
His due time.
He is cultivating His seeds for a great harvest.
Resurrect your flowers of faith, flowers of confidence, flowers of persistence, and flowers of hard work.
God will then make you blossom into His Plan and His Purpose.

Why is Easter so Late
This Year in 2022?
Last year (2021), Easter Sunday fell on Sunday April 4th; this year's Easter Sunday is on April 17th--later than usual.
This is because Easter falls on the first Sunday following the first ecclesiastical full moon--known as the ‘Pascal’--after the Spring equinox.
Spring has now sprung, and Easter is usually not far behind.
Holy Week & Holy Thursday Its final week, known as Holy Week, begins on Palm Sunday and ends on Holy or Maundy Thursday, followed by Good Friday.
Good Friday & Hot Cross Buns The end of lent on Holy Thursday is followed by Good Friday -- in which Christians often exchange hot cross buns to commemorate Jesus’ crucifixion by the Romans following his sentencing by Pontius Pilate.

Ash Wednesday
Lent begins on the day known as Ash Wednesday, which is still commonly observed in the Western world with priests marking the foreheads of mass attendees with ash in the shape of a cross as they recite the dictum.
The Dictum:
“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” These ashes are derived by burning palm leaves used in the previous year’s Palm Sunday rites.

The Christian Holiday Traditions
|
The Christian holiday celebrating the resurrec-tion of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion in Jerusalem has been observed for centuries, with traditions gradually changing across the decades.
In the 21st century, Christian across the world celebrate Easter by trading chocolate Easter eggs, attending mass on Easter Sunday morning, and indulgent in temptations given up during lent.
Lent for 2022 While Easter and Good Friday are slightly later this 2022-year, Lent for this year began on Wed., March 2nd and will end on Thursday. April 14th, with evening mass and Holy Thursday.
The 40-Day Observation Festival The 40-day observed festival sees many Christians across the world decide to give something up for the duration of lent to pay tribute to Jesus Christ’s sacrifice in the days leading up to his death and resurrection.
Fast or Observe Abstinence Traditionally, Christians would fast or observe abstinence throughout the 40 days of lent, repenting and reflecting on their sins, as well as resisting temptation -- as Jesus did during his 40 days of fasting and prayer during the desert before dying on the cross, according to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke.

Thank The Lord!--My Kidney Stones 2nd surgical procedure
was successful this time. I am home, resting, healing, and
managing the pain well.
I thank each of you for your prayers,
support, texts, cards, and flowers.
I especially Thank my daughter, Charrell (the doctor), who interceded with the doctors to ensure all was going smoothly and that I understood their doctors' medical conversation (whew! Talking about a foreign language!); my baby daughter, Cheryl, who flew in from Maryland for the procedure and handled all of the texts, calls, and other messages of prayers and support; My son-in-law, Sean, is always there to do whatever his hands find to do; his mom, Beverly (my sister/friend) for the meals, calls, and other shows of love; my wonderful neighbors, Nancy & Jeff and Val & Vince, calling, texting, and many acts of kindness--even before this surgery; my son, Wayne; my sister, Jean; brother, Sam; Sisters 4Sisters Network (Peggy Morris & Members); The Black Women for Positive Change Organization (Dr. Stephanie Myers & Members); my dear friends, Vivian & Wilbur Malloy; Tish Smith, my new Florida Friend--keeping up with me in everything I do; and so many other family/friends of gold. I cannot thank each of you enough! ❤️
Last but not least, I thank my phenomenal Pastor, Rev/Dr. Haywood A. Robinson, III; our First Lady, Renee Robinson; and the entire The People's Community Baptist Church Family in Silver Spring, MD, for your prayers and active attention of LOVE.
