12th Annual Turning Red Tape into Red Carpet Awards Winners Announced!
Congratulations to the winners of OCBC’s 12th Annual Turning Red Tape into Red Carpet Awards. Awardees were announced live at a reception on November 17. More than 20 public agencies submitted 34 nominations in six award categories this year. Winners were selected by a diverse committee of business and city leaders, chaired by OCBC Board member Mark Taylor, Director of Government Operations, California, The Boeing Company. Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce’s 40 Under 40
Jennifer Bullard, Senior VP of Advocacy and Government Affairs at OCBC, was one of the forty Orange County professionals recognized during the Greater Irvine Chamber’s 40 Under 40 awards program on November 16 at the Irvine Marriott. Jennifer was recognized for her tireless dedication to improving Orange County’s economic vitality and quality of life, as well as her support for the community, including mentoring through Girls Inc. OCBC leaders met with OCBC Board member and South Orange County Community College District (SOCCCD) Chancellor Julianna Barnes and Vice Chancellor, Business Services, Ann-Marie Gabel to tour Irvine Valley College's School of Integrated Design, Engineering and Automation (IDEA) at the Advanced Technology and Education Park (ATEP) in Tustin. IDEA, a school specializing in design model making, drafting and engineering, and electrical and electronic technology, will be joined in the future by SOCCCD’s second ATEP campus, focusing on hands-on training in automotive technology and culinary arts. Located on nearly 62 acres of the former Marine Corps Air Station-Tustin, ATEP is part of a unique site offering opportunity for economic development, advanced technology, career technical, and workforce development training programs that support high-demand industries. John Wayne Airport Releases 2022 Passenger Survey
John Wayne Airport has released their 2022 Passenger Survey, conducted in August 2022. This survey is biannual and measures JWA traveler preferences and satisfaction levels; this year's results confirm high approval ratings from travelers, both visitors and residents alike. Findings show 73% of survey takers rate their JWA experience a five out of five and 68% of passengers are visitors. Discover many other results from JWA’s 2022 Passenger Survey
