New to the Neighborhood! Angelique's Creative Learning Center

Memphis Avenue is home to a new childcare center: Angelique’s Creative Learning Center! With five years of invaluable experience and holding an associate degree, Angelique Fuentes seized the opportunity to establish her own childcare center when the former daycare space became available for lease. Catering to children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old, Angelique’s Creative Learning Center fosters an environment where learning and growth thrive. Their dedicated team of bilingual educators ensures a nurturing atmosphere, where all meals are provided Monday through Friday, from 6am to 11pm. Fully licensed by the county and open to vouchers, Angelique’s Creative Learning Center offers convenience and quality education.

OBFM Website Revamp

Food to sustain. Art to inspire. Community to share it with. The Old Brooklyn Farmers Market is getting an update this summer, and along with the revamp there is a brand new webpage with more information and events to share. This year the farmers market is expanding! We’ve outgrown our home at Pearl Road United Methodist Church, who have been amazing partners over the past 5 seasons, and will be moving to a new location along Pearl Road. The market will be on Thursday evenings from 5-8pm beginning July 11 through September. You’ll want to spend your Thursday evenings with us! We’re bringing back some local favorites and adding in some new vendors, musicians, and partners. There’s something for everyone at the OBFM!
