YOUTH MINISTRY CORNER
In the spirit of this penitential season, Mr. Van offers this Teen Lenten Challenge. Each week he'll provide 2 of the stations of the cross, including a reflection for each station and then offer a penance challenge for the week at the end of each email. If you haven't already selected a penance for this Lent or would like to make your Lenten season even more meaningful, give it a try! (Adults can participate too! ) So, here we go...
Contact Mr. Van for the reflection for Stations 5 and 6. Your challenge this week: Seek out someone who desperately needs help with a tough task and help them or find someone who is lonely/sad & find a way to spend quality time with that person. Be like Simon and help with their burden or Veronica and wipe the sorrow from their face!
Youth Ministry will again present the Living Stations of the Cross for the parish on Good Friday. Rehearsals will be on Sundays at 3pm and begin the first Sunday of Lent, February 18th, at St. Julian Eymard Church.
