The City of Casa Grande Library's Summer Reading Program,

Find Your Voice, is almost here!

On June 5th, you can come into either library and pick up your summer reading goodies. We can't wait to see you!

Main Library: 449 N. Drylake Street or Vista Grande Library: 1556 N. Arizola Rd

Local writers and current authors, this group meets twice a month on the first and third Thursday at the Vista Grande Library to peer critique works in progress as well as share information about getting published. Please bring up to 5 pages of a past or current piece of writing, double spaced, and a pen to critique. Thursday, May 4th from 1:30-4:00 p.m. Ages 18+

Get your calendars set for a full summer of technology help. First up, 21st Century Learning on May 4th from 2:30-4:30 p.m. All classes are held at the Main Library, 449 N. Drylake Street. Need a little one-on-one time? You can always sign up for an hour of individual help below:

Come to the next Literati meeting on Wednesday, May 3rd and join in on an enlightening conversation about the book The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. Meeting starts at 11:00 a.m. at the Vista Grande Library. Ages 18+

Join us for our monthly Chess Gathering at the Vista Grande Library. Next meeting, Monday, May 8th from 3:30-5:00 p.m. All ages and levels welcome!

Interested in learning the ins and outs of babysitting? The library is partnering with the Casa Grande Fire Department to bring you a FREE babysitter course. We are offering two sessions. Intended for students in grades 6th through 12th. Registration is required and attendance to all three days is mandatory. 

Tea Party Storytime and Craft at Main

Join Youth Librarian, Ms. Julie, for a SPECIAL EVENT! We will be reading stories about moms, sharing ice tea, treats, and making a cute craft for moms or a special loved one. Tuesday, May 2nd from 10:00-10:45 a.m.

Teen Anime and Manga Club

Every Friday from 4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.

Family Movie with a Fun Activity @ Main Library

Saturdays from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
