March snapshot for the Louisville region

Change since March of last year

The March data for the Louisville region continues to show a slowdown in the local economy. The unemployment rate is up from the same time last year, and the size of the labor force is smaller. Demand for workers is easing, as indicated by falling online job postings. Payrolls are up slightly over the same time last year.
