Dear St. Anthony Families, 

“I loved autumn, the one season of the year that God seemed to have put there just for the beauty of it all.”- Lee Maynard Thursday marked the first day of fall and Fr. Juan shared in our all school mass, a quote by Saint Thomas Aquinas, saying if you ever doubt the existence of God just look at the changing of season. It was a beautiful reminder about how each new season, experience, phase in our lives is ordained by God. As we continue to move forward through the school year together I am constantly reminded of the presence of God and his hand in the purpose of our important work at St. Anthony. 

This week, at St. Anthony I had the privilege of seeing how our community is dedicated not only to academic excellence but willing to enjoy community celebrations together. This week was CRHS homecoming week and our Student Council planned a great week of celebration days. I loved the enthusiasm of all our students and staff as they dressed up this week. My favorite memory was welcoming students on Wednesday at the doors in super hero costumes and playing superhero theme songs! I am looking forward to many more opportunities for us to celebrate together as a community. Good luck CRHS football in your homecoming game tonight!! I wish all of our St. Anthony families a blessed weekend. Do your homework, go to church on Sunday, and remember who we are, we are St. Anthony Spartans.

Estimadas familias de St. Anthony,

“Me encantaba el otoño, la única estación del año que Dios parecía haber puesto allí solo por su belleza”. Lee Maynard El jueves marcó el primer día del otoño y el p. Juan compartió en nuestra misa de toda la escuela, una cita de Santo Tomás de Aquino, diciendo que si alguna vez dudas de la existencia de Dios, solo mira el cambio de estación. Fue un hermoso recordatorio de cómo Dios ordena cada nueva temporada, experiencia y fase de nuestras vidas. A medida que continuamos avanzando juntos durante el año escolar, recuerdo constantemente la presencia de Dios y su mano en el propósito de nuestro importante trabajo en St. Anthony.

Esta semana, en St. Anthony tuve el privilegio de ver cómo nuestra comunidad se dedica no solo a la excelencia académica, sino que también está dispuesta a disfrutar juntos de las celebraciones comunitarias. Esta semana fue la semana de regreso a casa de CRHS y nuestro Consejo Estudiantil planeó una gran semana de días de celebración. Me encantó el entusiasmo de todos nuestros estudiantes y personal mientras se vestían esta semana. ¡Mi recuerdo favorito fue dar la bienvenida a los estudiantes el miércoles en las puertas con disfraces de superhéroes y tocar canciones temáticas de superhéroes! Espero muchas más oportunidades para que celebremos juntos como comunidad. ¡Buena suerte con el fútbol de CRHS en su juego de bienvenida esta noche! Vaccine Clinic

Greetings St. Anthony families,

I wanted to take a second and share this information with you all. The Indiana Immunization Coalition "IIC" will be hosting a vaccination clinic on September 26th at St. Philip Neri Catholic School . Please see the details below:

"The IIC is coming to SPN 9/26 1PM-3PM for a vaccine clinic. Registration is open and all students, staff, and parents are eligible to register. Registration deadline is 9/21/2022. Clinic will be held in the gym on the stage area at SPN 545 Eastern Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46201. 

The registration link for the immunization clinic is https://patients.vaxcare.com/registration and enrollment code IN65942. Families can pre register using this link. They will click on the link, enter the enrollment code and then select St. Philip Neri-9/26.

*Of note, IIC will not initiate the Covid vaccine series without explicit parental request, but we will complete the Covid vaccine series if it has already been started for any student registered. If your child has started the Covid vaccine series and you do NOT want them to complete the series, then please send an email to [email protected] within 48 hours prior to the scheduled immunization clinic. 

*IIC will administer the flu vaccine to any student that is registered unless a parent emails us to refuse their child to receive it."
