Ladybug Volunteer Registration is OPEN!

The Ladybug Fund Winetasting & Silent Auction is SOAR365's biggest event of the year! We are recruiting volunteers to assist pre-event, during, and post-event. 

Ladybug invites guests to enjoy favorite varieties from the world's best wine regions, including South America, Europe, and the USA. Guests will also experience delicious culinary delights, live jazz, and craft beer. Our highly anticipated silent auction features exceptional wines and other sought-after experiences and items. 

Volunteer opportunities for the night include setting up for the event, welcoming guests, assisting in our wine cellar, managing mobile biddings and so much more!

As a token of our gratitude, a special of $25 volunteer ticket can be purchased at the event, allowing you to sip, savor, and support once you're done volunteering.

The LEGO Group Gifts Time and Generosity to SOAR365



Fifteen team members from the LEGO Group joined us over the holidays for a fun-filled morning at Camp Baker! Participants made gingerbread houses, decorated ornaments, and took pictures with Santa. Volunteers from the LEGO Group did a great job assisting with craft activities. They even danced with participants and served them breakfast.

We loved having members of the LEGO Group volunteer with us, but their support of SOAR365 doesn’t end there. At the April 2023 groundbreaking for the company’s new state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Chesterfield County, the LEGO Group made a commitment to invest in our community. Then, in November 2023, they announced $1 million in grant funding to six local nonprofit organizations, including SOAR365. These funds will help create and expand vital programming and initiatives to help kids from diverse backgrounds and abilities learn through play.

MLK Volunteers Make Their Holiday a Day ON, Not OFF!

A BIG shout-out goes to the 54 volunteers who honored the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr with a morning of service! In the spirit of unity and community, SOAR365 hosted two events for volunteers. One group of volunteers joined us at our Staples Mill location where they organized closets, made craft kits and got us ready for a fresh new year! A second group joined us on a chilly outdoor morning and helped lay down a fresh layer of mulch across PARK365!

"It was such a rewarding opportunity seeing the beautification of our community. Being able to make a difference with my co-workers and meet others who were willing to serve on the MLK day of service was amazing," said Maryssa Sadler, a volunteer from VA Medicaid.

Next Generation Council Spotlight: Get to Know Olivia Wood

How did you hear about SOAR365’s Next Generation Council (NGC)? Through volunteering with SOAR365, I organically met several members of NGC. Along the way, I learned that all of these kind and generous folks were involved in planning the events. I was intrigued to learn more about NGC!

What’s your favorite SOAR365 memory or experience? My first volunteer experience at SOAR365 was one of my favorites - a co-worker brought me to the MLK Day of Service in 2023 where we painted the SOAR365 building to prep for a muralist to complete an art installation. It was here that I first got a glimpse into the organization and met some amazing friends along the way.
