“April, comes like an idiot, babbling and strewing flowers".

Can it possibly be... Spring has sprung and is here to stay in Sunapee? (nary a hint of snow in the forecast!)
Water Fowl (Mergansers, Herons, Mallards and Canada Geese) have all been sighted as they return to open waters of local ponds and rivers… The sunny days and approaching "Ice Out" on Lake Sunapee will soon signal the return of Loons as well. Hoping to hear the song of Spring Peepers on a Spring evening very soon!

4/13 - 15: Le Patin Libre at the HOP
Like the starlings' mind-blowing aerials, Murmuration exceeds what an individual brain can imagine or comprehend. The choreography was devised from complex algorithms, made possible by the speed and fluidity of ice. Micro-movements and changes of direction create a domino effect that deflect the trajectory of the group. Everyone is constantly on the lookout, as they explore the dynamic interactions of an exhilarating and sometimes dangerous togetherness. An adrenaline rush for the whole family! Learn More
