MLSC Paid Internship Challenge
Students who submit their resume to the MLSC Internship Challenge will have their resume shared with local life science companies. Companies may reach out about paid internships. The majority of interns have been engineering, biology, chemistry, and business majors, but all students are encouraged to apply.
The STEM Club is open to all NSCC students. The club meets every other week and helps you know about STEM opportunities, meet your classmates, and learn about topics that club members are interested in. Join once per semester or every meeting!
This program is for current sophomores majoring in STEM programs related to NOAA's (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) programs and mission. The program offers up to $45,000 in total support.
This program is for students interested in oceanic and atmospheric science and provides academic assistance (up to $9,500 per year) for two years of full-time study and a 10-week, full-time paid ($700/week) internship at a NOAA facility during the summer.
NSCC sent 26 STEM students to tour Innovent Technologies' manufacturing site last month. Innovent Technologies was a great host and provided an inside look into manufacturing related to the semiconductor industry and shared helpful career tips. CAD Design & 3D Printing Day
This week, the STEM Club visited the NSCC CAD lab. Students got to try out CAD (Computer Aided Design) for the first time and design phone holders that were then 3D printed in the lab.
