DI & EDI Certifying Examination Application Closes April 30!

ACVR is offering the DI and EDI certifying and preliminary examinations twice annually for any eligible candidate. With this change, the exam registration deadlines have been modified and the past registration deadline of January 31st is no longer valid. Please take careful note of this information so you do not miss the registration window.

Fall exam (August)
Registration will be available from April 1 – April 30 of the same year.

Spring exam (February/March)
Registration will be available from October 1 to October 30 the year prior (e.g. in 2024 for the 2025 exam)

Registration process:
  • To register for the exam you will need to purchase the correct exam through the ACVR Exam Event Page. Before getting to the checkout page, you will be asked to complete a brief form.
  • You will receive a receipt for your purchase that is your confirmation of registration.
  • Council accepts all candidates for the examination. That may take 2-3 weeks following the registration deadline. As soon as you are approved to sit the exam you will receive an e-mail from the examination committee with additional information.

Registration is available until April 30, 2024 for the August 2024 exams.

Diagnostic Imaging Abstract Submission for #ACVR2024 Closes on April 29

Abstract submission for the 2024 Annual Scientific Conference is now open! Individuals can submit abstracts in one of the following Diagnostic Imaging categories:

  • CT/MRI
  • Large Animal
  • Nuclear Med/PET
  • Diagnostic Imaging
  • Ultrasound
  • ZEWDIS
  • Artificial Intelligence

Abstracts submission for the above categories closes on April 29, 2024 at 11:59 PDT. Questions about abstracts should be emailed to acvr@pamedsoc.org.
Radiation Oncology abstract submission will open May 6, 2024. More details are available on the 2024 Conference webpage.
Volunteer to Moderate a Session at #ACVR2024

The 2024 Program Committee is seeking volunteers to moderate sessions at the 2024 Annual Scientific Conference! If you are interested in serving in this capacity, please complete this Committee Volunteer Form and list "Program Committee" in the field provided.

RIVDI 2024 is Back on Focal Spot!

We are excited to announce that RIVDI KCC sessions are returning in 2024! Our primary goal for these “Rounds in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging” is to provide fun, interactive access to preparatory material for the ACVR Certifying Exam.

Any diagnostic imaging intern or resident is welcome to participate. All residency-trained and boarded radiologists are also welcome to attend! RIVDI is free for ACVR Residents/Trainees. All others will be charged $50 to access RIVDI for the year.
