Daily Lenten Offering

Return to me with all your heart, says the Holy One, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; rend your hearts and not your clothing. Return to your God, for I am gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.

Holy God, in this season of repentance and preparation, grant me courage to accept my incomplete- and not-yet-ness. Draw me up into the maturity of Christ by your love and compassion. Amen.
