Family Promise Training Refresher
Tuesday, May 14, 6:00pm
Family Promise exists to prevent and end homelessness for families with children, helping them achieve sustainable independence. In the next few weeks, we will begin hosting families. If you are interested in playing a vital role in this new ministry please attend this refresher course (perfect for new volunteers as well as those who came to training in 2023).

Memorial Brick Pathway: Bricks Available Now
We are beginning the process of updating our Memorial Brick Pathway that was previously near the Activities Center (removed due to construction). The new pathway will be between the Sanctuary and Education buildings (along the edge outside of playground) and will be installed this summer/fall to include the existing bricks from storage as well as new engraved bricks.
The first step of this process is making new bricks available for purchase in memory/honor of a loved one. This Sunday, you will find a table in the Gathering Lobby with the necessary form to specify the wording you'd like to have engraved on brick(s). Barbara Nelson will be available at the table to assist, as there are specific guidelines on how many characters can be used (3 lines, 20 characters per line). Each brick is 4x8" and costs $50. Payment will be due via check/cash/card when your form is turned in.
We look forward to adding this beautiful asset to our campus as a way to remember and honor those we love. You can find out more in the Gathering Lobby on Sunday morning.

Sewing for a Cause! Bi-monthly Meetings and Sew-a-ton Coming Soon!

Calling all ladies with sewing talents or those interested in learning more! Our quilting group, "Quilters on the Key," has an opportunity for you to use your time and energy creatively and show God's love in a tangible way.
In addition to our regular meetings on the first and third Thursdays at 9:30am, we are organizing a day long “Sew-a-thon!" Join us Friday, June 28 in the Activities Center for a day full of sewing so that we can be prepared to provide handmade items of warmth and comfort for those who may be in need. Experienced sewers will be available to help beginners! Kits will be available which include materials and patterns.
Breakfast, lunch, and drinks will be provided. Please bring your sewing machine and basic notions (scissors, thread, etc). We appreciate any help that you can provide - 2 or 5 hrs! RSVP at the Hospitality Desk or to Renee in the church office at 850 492 2135 or email renee@perdidobay.church if you are able to help with this necessary project as we continue to be the Heart of the Community.

Costa Rica Fundraising
Stop by the Hospitality Desk soon to pick up a hat while supplies last! All proceeds will go toward the Costa Rica Mission Trip this summer.
Thank you for your generous support in our recent fundraisers through the Wednesday Evening Meal, Frozen Brunswick Stew, and Boston Butt sale. Your generosity will help our team represent PBUMC in Costa Rica. We can't wait to tell you all about it when we return in late June!

Transformance Fitness
Transformance is a strength training class for children and adults that takes place each Monday and Thursday in the Activities Center at various times throughout the day. $75/month or $15/day. See more by visiting our website.

Activities Center Yoga
Tuesdays weekly
If you are looking for a way to build strength, flexibility, and balance, come check out the Tuesday morning yoga classes available in our gym. Becca Schmidt offers Gentle Yoga from 8:30-9:45am and Chair Yoga from 10:00-11:00am. All classes are on a drop-in basis. The cost is $5 for Gentle Yoga and $3.50 for Chair Yoga. Please bring your own yoga mat and beach towel, and wear comfortable attire. No matter your age, you can find a class that suits your needs. Quilters on the Key
1st & 3rd Thursdays, 9:30am-12:30pm
You're invited to join this group for a time of fellowship and quilting in the Activities Center. Quilts and other items are crafted and given to persons facing difficult situations as a gesture of comfort and thoughtfulness. Use your talents to spread the love of God as part of this important group of service and fellowship.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 2:00-4:00pm
The Prayer Shawl Ministry exists to knit and crochet blankets and other items of comfort and encouragement. These items are given to newborn babies, those facing health issues, and more. Come and be a part of this group of fellowship and giving- all are welcome! It's a wonderful time of getting to know others while also making a difference for those who need to feel God's care.

Intercessory Prayer Group Meeting
Tuesdays at 8:30am
You are invited to join our intercessors in the Gathering Lobby for their weekly prayer meeting. If you have a prayer need that you would like to add to the prayer list, email it to prayer@perdidobay.church or you may use our App to submit your prayer request. Additionally, you may fill out a prayer request card at the Hospitality Desk.

PBUMC Kids Ministry (Elementary: K - 5th Grade)
PBUMC Kids Ministry is for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grades. Each Sunday morning is Children's Worship at both 9:00am and 11:00am. At 10:00am we have Sunday School. The Wave Student Ministry (for 6th-12th Grades) | |
