NEW IBERIA, La. --- Danette Bird, owner of Bird on the Bayou (120 E. Main St.) has created and is organizing a new downtown event called Super Saturday Downtown Shopping co-sponsored by the New Iberia Main Street Program.
The event will take place every 3rd Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and includes vendors who will setup along East and West Main Street in front of downtown businesses.
The intent is to promote New Iberia businesses and encourage visitors and locals to support downtown business owners.
The current 2024 scheduled dates are:
- February 17
- March 16
- April 20
- May 18
- June 15
- July 20
- August 17
- September 21
- October 19
- November 16
- December 21
