Happy Spring!

From Your Director, Lynn Ann Clausing Rusch

Regardless of what traditions you follow, the spiritual meaning of Easter is a new light after sacrifice or tribulation. Winter is a time to conserve energy and reduce activity. Spring is a time of regeneration, new beginnings and a renewal of spirit. The energy of birdsong and nesting, seeds sprouting, trees and flowers budding are all signs of rebirth.

The energy level at Linwood reflects spring renewal and new beginnings as we start outdoor improvement projects. Programming for the summer is taking place including our Pie & Ice Cream Social and Summer Concert Series.

I think we can all be inspired by the energy of Spring with its message of hope, new light, growth and transformation. There is a sense of renewal and new life all around.

Consider this: When you're in a dark place, you sometimes feel buried. Perhaps you have been planted and you are getting ready to BLOOM!

Special thanks to Appleton Alderperson Vaya Jones and Appleton Communication and Community Engagement Manager Andy Anaam for visiting with our tenants! It's great to learn about the workings of our Appleton City Government.
