Please, fill out a card and turn it in to the office or drop it in the offering baskets. You may make your donations in any amount. Any money in excess of the cost of these flowers will be used to cover the expense of flowers and altar supplies at other times of the year.

Cards will be located in the bulletin on Sunday or you can email the office at allsaints@allsaintsrussellville.net with the following information:

Name, Who is it In Thanksgiving for, In Memory of, or In Honor of with the enclosed donation amount.

At this time of year, we give thanks for the presence of our staff. Traditionally in the spirit of the holiday season, we make special monetary gifts to them. If you wish to contribute, please turn in your gifts to the church office or place it in the offering plate, in care of Carol Lee, no later than Sunday, December 18th. Checks may be made out to All Saints' with the amounts designated on the memo line.

Report from the Grounds Committee

Thanks to the efforts of several Parishioners the on-going project to beautify the west front entrance to our building is progressing. On November 17 the new stone flower bed that surrounds our sign was planted with bird, bug, and bee friendly plants by members of Tech’s Kappa Sigma Fraternity. The young men worked under the direction of Master Gardener Pat Roys as they installed Arkansas Amsonia, Mountain Mint, Little Bluestem grass, Coneflowers, Bee Balm and Wreath Goldenrod. These plants were donated to the All Saints’ gardens by Mary Ann King of Pineridge Native Plant Nursery.

On November 29 Walter Hudson constructed two permanent wooden screens that block the air conditioning units from view. The treated lumber in the screens needs to age for several months before it’s painted to match the red bricks of the building.

Zoysia sod covers the new drainage system that was installed along the west facade of our building in August 2022. Water from the roof and rain water now flows away from the foundation slabs of our building. The sod is well established after being watered daily by grounds committee members during late August through September.

A third stone-rimmed raised bed was constructed by Candy Welcher in a low spot under a grove of mature trees; three native flowering dogwood trees were planted there. They stand in memory of Parishioner Sandy McGregor.

An American Yellowwood tree was planted to honor the installation of Teri Daily as our Rector and it’s thriving; the young tree was carefully tended and watered throughout the hot dry summer of 2022 by Diane Roach.

Church Ministry Updates

Neighbors Table Update

We’re creating hearty winter soup for Neighbors Table this week! Our talented cooking team will create three different sure-to-be-delicious soups from meat and veggies we have on hand. We’ll serve croissants, and bake cakes made from mixes donated by ConAgra. Every meal will also have an apple and granola bars.

The beautiful quilts donated for a raffle for our Loaves and Fishes ministry are receiving much attention. Proceeds will go to provide healthy protein and fresh fruits for our L & F guests. Winner of the raffle gets first choice and the remaining two quilts will be sold separately. This Sunday will be the last opportunity to buy a chance to win, so be sure to stop by the table after 8:00 or before or after 10:30 to buy a ticket. Drawing will be after the 10:30 service.

Last week 104 meals were served drive through with the rest delivered to families in the community and parish, for a total of 165. Food from the Arkansas Food Bank makes up a large part of the meals we serve. For this, maintaining our State certified kitchen is a legal requirement, and we are grateful to everyone who helps us keep in compliance with our State Laws which are posted in the kitchen. Thank you!

Please keep Neighbors Table in your prayers. We greatly appreciate the many helpers who pray for us and contribute their time, talent, and treasure! If you would like to know more, or volunteer, please contact Charlie Tyrone, (479) 857-0480, ctyrone_49@hotmail.com.

For those celebrating an anniversary this week: Robin and Del Danielson.

O gracious and everliving God, look mercifully upon your servants who come to renew the promises they have made to each other.
