We invite you to bring your retired flags to Oliver’s Funeral Home. Each year we honour their service as symbols of justice and freedom in Canada.

There is no cost for this service. We simply want to apply proper protocol and appreciation for our nation’s flag on behalf of our community.

Heather Alexander Announced As Keynote Speaker For 2024 Women Of Influence Awards Presented By Peace Diagnostic Imaging

The Woman of Influence Awards 2024 Presented by Peace Diagnostic Imaging is proud to present Heather Alexander of Grato Coaching as the keynote speaker for the awards luncheon on Friday, March 8.

Heather’s presentation is titled, ‘From Inspiration to Impact: Building a Better World Through Women’s Inclusion’ explores the journey from inspiration to impact, emphasizing the critical role women play in shaping a better world through their voices, influence, and unwavering support for fellow women.  Recognizing the diversity of experiences, Heather highlights how women from all walks of life can contribute to a more inclusive and empowering global narrative.

Key points include voices of influence, lending a hand backwards and owning your worth. The presentation features several calls to action for audience members to bring their learnings forward for a more inclusive world.

The award reception takes place on March 8, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at The Bowes in Bonnett’s Energy Centre featuring an awards ceremony and the keynote.
