Desired Results Assessment Training

Are you using the Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP), either the full or simplified version, in your school age program or classrooms? Do your teachers need training in using the tool accurately?

Staff in ELRCs 8, 9, & 10 can now take an on-demand DRDP training to meet certain STARS requirements.

This Child Care Weather Chart from the Iowa Department of Public Health, Healthy Child Care Iowa, takes some of the guesswork out of making these decisions an helps us be fully prepared so that children (and teachers) can enjoy as much time as possible outdoors in all kinds of weather.

**Children are able to be outside in temperatures beyond 25 and 90 degrees with reasonable accommodations and adjustments.
