God Restores His People

Lesson 10

“A Fiery Marvel” is the title of today’s lesson. Despite King Nebuchadnezzar’s directive to bow before his golden statue, three faithful Israelites ignore the order. In a burning rage, the king orders Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to be tossed into a flaming furnace heated seven times hotter than usual. To the king’s astonishment, four men appear in the furnace, and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego emerge unharmed—not even smelling of fire.
