Have you visited our beautiful gallery located in the Wimberley Community Center?

Our renowned Juried Gallery Shows offer original works of art for viewing and for purchase. And, we host champagne receptions during special evening hours to celebrate the opening of each new exhibit. For an enchanting respite from the hustle and bustle of life, visit the gallery today. Parking and admission are always free.

Our current exhibit is the annual Student Show featuring works by local students. The show closes May 6. Stop by today to be inspired by the works created by these gifted young artists.

And be sure to join us for the OPENING RECEPTION of our next Juried Gallery Show curated by our guest juror, San Angelo artist Suzanne Horner.

ARTS FEST 2024

Were YOU there? If so, you know that in spite of Sunday morning's weather Arts Fest was a wonderful success. Thank you to everyone who attended, to everyone who volunteered, and especially to every artist who shared their creativity at this festive event. Our next special event is the annual Studio Tour. This popular self-guided tour of various local artists' studios will be September 28 & 29. Details to follow closer to the date.

COME ONE! COME ALL!

JOIN US the second Monday of this month, May 13, at the Wimberley Community Center for our general meeting followed by an artist presentation. This month we are fortunate to welcome Anna Alisa Leal as our speaker.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for a half-hour social in the gallery. The main event begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. and ends by 8:00 p.m.

NOTE: There are no general meetings in the summer months,

but watch for them to return this fall.

PLEIN AIR PAINTING GROUP

Join other artists each Friday as we ‘Plein Air’ paint in and around Wimberley. We meet early and paint for a few hours.

It’s a great way to get inspired by the beauty of our community and all that it has to offer. No pressure or critique (unless you ask for it).Getting outdoors and painting something different is a great way to jump-start your creativity. For more information contact Jim at jim@jimstreet.com

Celebrate the 4th Annual projectMENTOR Show & Reception Friday May 10, 2024 6 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at ArtSpace. Meet the artists behind this semester-long program while enjoying light refreshments, compelling conversation, and art! Many mentors are members of the art league. We appreciate their ongoing commitment to art and budding artists in our community. The exhibit runs through Sun, May 26th. Free parking available.
