An innovative engineer and entrepreneur, Dr. Singh founded Karta Technologies in 1986 and grew it from a one-person garage operation to a dynamic company of over 400 employees and San Antonio’s largest defense contractor. Since selling the company in 2007 he has devoted his life’s work to philanthropy and promoting care for those in need. He has provided time, talent and treasure to the San Antonio Food Bank, Goodwill San Antonio, and Interfaith San Antonio Alliance, San Antonio Area Foundation (played an instrumental role in securing the historic Santikos legacy gift of more than $600 million) and other non-profits. Dr. Singh will be joined by his son, Simran Jeet Singh, who recently authored The Light We Give: How Sikh Wisdom Can Transform Your Life. They will be sharing their rich perspectives on living a life with purpose.
