Relief Efforts from the Weekend Storm Continue in Johnson County

This past weekend, several Johnson County communities were impacted by a tornado and severe weather conditions. We are heartbroken for the residents whose lives have been upended and businesses whose operations have been disrupted. Since Aspire’s Sunday alert, there have been new developments as to where those impacted can find resources and how the community can help.

To volunteer in clean-up efforts, visit the Clark Pleasant Administration Building at 50 Center Street, Whiteland.

Distribution of immediate needs such as water and personal care items is being handled by HeavenEarth Church, 309 E. Main Street, Whiteland.

+ Information on needed donation items and addresses for The Impact Center and The Refuge can be found here.

Aspire has a sense of where our priority issues are headed, too. There is positive movement on childcare, housing, and economic development funding.
