Affording College
Merit Scholarships & Financial Aid
College is one of the biggest decisions that student and family will ever make. For many, it's also one of the most expensive investments. Don't assume that college is out of reach because you just don't have enough saved. Even if you have a 529 plan or enough savings to draw from, merit and financial aid are important pieces of the equation.

PCCI recently held several workshops at YMCAs across the state, covering a range of topics that included merit-basis scholarships and financial aid. (If you have not yet had a chance to attend a workshop, stay tuned as we will be announcing the next round of workshops in upcoming newsletters.)

In the meantime, tune in to this segment of Positive Talk Radio KKNW Seattle, where as a guest, I discussed maximizing the student's chance to receive merit-basis scholarship and financial aid among other topics.
