Oktoberfest

It’s not too late to join in tonight’s Oktoberfest fun! All are invited to this annual German-themed celebration complete with brats, German beer, non-alcoholic offerings, lederhosen of course, and a fabulous time of fellowship! Suggested donation of $10 per person/$20 per family.

Pumpkin Fest
At Cathedral Ridge
This Saturday, October 19
There’s a crispness is in the air, and Pumpkin Fest at Cathedral Ridge will provide opportunities for all ages to get into the fall spirit! Free pumpkin games will be included with $5 admission ($20 max/family), and pumpkins and concessions will be available for purchase. Plus for $5+, you can participate in a Pumpkin Launchin'. There will also be a Lucky Pumpkin Launch with a grand prize of $500! Sign up below to let us know you're coming and if you can volunteer.

Cold weather will be here soon, and our friends in need in the Pike's Peak area, specifically schools in D-20, D-11, and Harrison D-2, will greatly appreciate your donations of new hats, gloves/mittens, scarves, and ear warmers. Hearing Loss Support Ministry Meeting

We encourage you to consider joining this new ministry and attending their next meeting on Monday from 6:00 - 7:15 PM in the Conference Room downstairs. A Zoom link is available through the church calendar. Challenged by hearing loss? Whether or not you wear hearing aids, try out one of the listening devices in the foyer during a service. Soul Shop Training
Suicide Prevention

We are fortunate to partner with David Galvan, St. Michael's Mental Health First Aid In-Resident Trainer, for this invaluable workshop designed to train faith communities on how they can care for people's minds and bodies as well as their souls. David likens this training to CPR, hopeful that giving people the information and insights they need to help troubled souls contemplating suicide will save numerous lives. Person after person who has been through this training describes it as critical, eye opening, and powerfully transformative!
Next Saturday, October 26 from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, David will offer his more in-depth workshop which will be held at St. Michael's but is open to the greater Colorado Springs community.

All Saints' Day

Each year we honor those who have gone before us to join the cloud of witnesses and saints. At our All Saints' Service on Friday, November 1 at 12:00 PM and at the start of the services on Sunday, November 3, we will read the names of those remembered by our St. Michael's family. Please submit names by clicking below by Wednesday, October 29.

Labyrinth Walks Offered
November 4, 5, 6
Election season can be an emotionally charged time. You are invited to walk the labyrinth in the St. Michael’s Parish Hall at your leisure on November 4, 5, or 6, between noon and 6:00 PM. Labyrinths offer a contemplative space to center in prayer, journey into a thin space, listen, and replenish your heart with God’s presence. Come fill your well! Walk Guides will be available. Please bring socks for your walk.

Christmas Light Festival Build
Volunteers Needed beginning Nov. 8
The 5th Annual Christmas Lights Festival is right around the corner. This parish-wide community event welcomes thousands to our campus to enjoy over 100,000 Christmas lights, while gathering canned goods and toys for those in need. Many hands make light work, so please join in the fun when you are available!

Members of the Snack Ministry provide snacks for the children at the The Child Enrichment Center (CEC) - either through Amazon order/delivery, money donation, or personal delivery - one or two weeks of the year.
