POSIES FOR THE PANTRY - Saturday, April 27 - Our Shepherd of Hope Food Pantry is having its yearly fundraiser. Be sure to get your annuals, perennials, herbs and native plants from several area nurseries along with items from unique crafters. You’ll save money on your plants and help support our pantry! The sale is located at Farragut Presbyterian Church, 209 Jamestowne Blvd, off Campbell Station Rd.

LABYRINTH - Saturday, April 27 - From 10 am to noon, you have the opportunity to lay a stone in the labyrinth being built here. The labyrinth path is Luke Colgrove's Eagle Scout project and the landscaping around it is Jacob Hartman’s Eagle Scout project. If you haven't noticed, it's on the Northeast corner of the church property (Thornton and Roane). On Saturday you can write a bible verse or saying on the underside of the stone before placing it. And don't worry about the weight of the stone. If you're unable to carry it and place it yourself, there will be Boy Scouts there to do it for you. If you would like to support this remarkable project monetarily, you can do so by check or online at concordunited.org/give. Be sure to designate that it’s for “labyrinth” in the memo line.

CHILDREN'S COAT HANGERS NEEDED - The Thrift Store is in need of coat hangers for children's clothing. If you have extra, please bring them to the church or The Thrift Store. Thank you!

NEXT MONTH'S PANTRY NEEDS - Cooking Oil, Canned Meals (Ravioli, Spaghetti O's, Beef Stew), Toothpaste, Cereal (no sugar added)

GROWING IN FAITH

ADULT MINISTRY

PRAYER LABYRINTH - As you have likely noticed, we are in the process of building a prayer labyrinth and garden on the east side of campus. We are at the point of laying the stones for the labyrinth. Join us this Saturday, from 10:00-12:00 to place a stone of the pathway. You can choose your stone, write a prayer or Bible verse on the bottom, and place the stone on the path. We will have folks present to assist you.  A huge thanks to our two youth who are creating this space as their Eagle Project, Luke Colgrove and Jacob Hartman. Another huge thanks to Sherae Robards for her expertise and guidance in development of this project. More information to come this summer about how to use the Prayer Labyrinth and Garden. Contact Pastor Brooke with questions at bhartman@concordunited.org.
