Dear Families,

We welcome all new and returning families to the start of a new year. Thank for making the commitment to your child's faith formation and entrusting them to us. We look forward to partnering with you this year. We have a team of talented and gifted catechists who will engage, instruct, and encourage your children in their faith journey.

Classes begin this Monday, September 26th

If you have not received your child's class assignment letter in the mail,

please contact the RE Office at 313-885-7022.

Reminders for the First Day of Class

Session 1 - 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm

Session 2 - 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm

All students should enter through the main school doors (Entrance 2). The RE Staff will be available to help students find their classrooms.

There are no snacks allowed during class. Students may bring a labeled water bottle. Water refill stations are available on the first and second floors.

Dismissal for all grades is through the gym doors. Kindergarten, Grades 1 and 2 students will be dismissed directly to parents/designated pick-up person in the gym vestibule.

Please fill out and return a Medical Treatment Form for each child attending.

Look for the RE Parent Handbook which will go home with your youngest child in early October.

November 14- Confirmation Interviews (in class)
January 22- Candidate and Sponsor Workshop
April 27- Confirmation Rehearsal
May 1 & 2- Confirmation
May 8- "Confirmation is not Graduation! What's Next?" Introduction to Youth Ministry

Happening in Our Parish

Priesthood Sunday

As you may already be aware, this coming Sunday, September 25^th, is Priesthood Sunday. We have been given the opportunity to prayerfully and formally thank our priests: Fr. Jim Bilot, Fr. Colin Fricke and Fr. Tom Slowinski, who have offered their lives to God, in the form of a spiritual bouquet.
