Florida 2024 Constitutional Amendments Guide

Woman hand throws voting ballot paper in ballot box_ concept of a person voting during elections

The FAFP's political consultants in Tallahassee (Metz, Husband, and Daughton) have developed a non-partisan guide to Florida's six (6) constitutional amendments that will be on the November 5 ballot. The FAFP is not taking a formal position on any of the amendments, but felt the information could be helpful prior to the elections.

Achieving Health Equity through Race-Neutral Spirometry

We know now that race is a social construct, not a biological one. Instead of relying on race alone as a convenient but inaccurate shorthand, we can assess social determinants of health, genetics, mental health, and more. In an obvious example, proximity to poor air quality from freeways and industry, often linked with lower income is certainly a factor in poor lung function.

Learn more about race-neutral spirometry from FAFP’s Partner in Health, AstraZeneca.
