Student Perception Survey: Feedback Request
The LEAP Collaborative Committee (LCC) collaborated with teachers and Special Service Providers representing DCTA and DPS on thoughtful ways to improve the LEAP system. Currently, the group has a subcommittee that is dedicated to reviewing Student Perception Surveys (SPS). For that reason, we are reaching out to all secondary teachers to help this group as it considers possible SPS modifications. The survey will run from April 16-26

Complete this brief survey to provide feedback on how teachers are scored.

If you have questions, please email leap@dpsk12.net.

Join the Autism and Wellness Fair on April 25
Join us for the Autism Resource & Wellness Fair on April 25 from 4-6:30 p.m. at Kaiser Elementary. This event helps families find resources to support their needs including therapy providers, advocacy groups, summer programs and more. Families who have children with autism or other disabilities or anyone who is interested in learning more about autism are invited to attend. Please forward this information to anyone you feel may be interested in this event. If you have any questions, contact Danielle Cortor.
Behavior Team Updates
As we approach the end of the school year, we want to communicate how the scope and workflow of the Behavior Team will change based on the timing of incoming referrals. We will continue to accept referrals until the end of the year. Because of the nature of the timeline for our four-to six-week coaching cycle, the support that we offer after May 3 will be focused on brief observations, consultations and connections to additional behavior resources.

We will continue to host Behavior Team office hours every Wednesday from 2:30-3:30 p.m. through the end of the school year. Use the Google Meet code, BehaviorTeam. Please email Courtney Sommer with any concerns or questions.
