The Douglas County School District's Perseverance Scholarship has awarded over $276,000 in scholarships to nearly 200 seniors since 1988. Financial need and academic merit are key criteria used in selecting scholarship recipients. In addition, students who are awarded this scholarship have often overcome personal challenges. These students show grit, determination, and resiliency, and need financial assistance to continue their education after graduation from a DCSD school. 100% of donations go straight to student scholarships! The 2024 Scholarship Award presentation will be held on Thursday, May 2nd at the DCSD Legacy Campus.

NEW PARTNER HIGHLIGHTS

New Foundation partner, Sage Savings Store, is a local small business run by two moms here in Colorado. We offer opportunities for fundraising with low upfront cost and ease. We provide fun, unique, and popular items at low cost to schools to open their own school stores for students to shop. We also cater to teachers and PBIS rewards programs. Products can be tailored to each school and individual based on their needs. Email us to receive a personalized catalogue based on your needs!

The Basketball Social House offers year-round programs for boys and girls from kindergarten through high school. We are not just a basketball facility, but we are also a fully licensed restaurant, offering food & drinks for all school events. We offer camps during school holidays, host birthday parties, staff team-building events, adult-only silent auctions/dances/casino nights/bar olympics and community events. We offer a fun and unique atmosphere for parents & kids to come together because there is nothing else like us!

The Selfie Party photo booth is proud to partner with The Foundation for Douglas County Schools in bringing an experience to capture your memories and add a touch of fun to your school-based events. Educational pricing is available. We are available for end-of-year parties, back-to-school events, carnivals, dances, or any activity schools are hosting for their students.
