Grace Variety Show

and Raffle

April 21, 5:00pm

We'll be hosting a Variety Show & Raffle to benefit the Gathering!

(A variety show is like a talent show, but talent is not required)

It's dinner and a show, and you won't want to miss it!

Attending this event is free - our fundraiser is the raffle!

There will be a free-will offering if you'd like to help offset the cost of dinner.

Everyone is invite to participate, so consider if you have an act, talent, hobby, or skill you'd like to share!

Examples include singing, dancing, juggling, skits, playing an instrument, magic, joke telling, poetry reading, lip-sync'ing to 80's music, and air guitar!

keep an eye out!

You will be able to buy raffle tickets between the 8:30 and 11am services, and after the 11am service, on April 14th and 21st, and then at the beginning of the show the evening of the 21st.

*You do not have to be present at the show to win*

The Gathering: 8 youth and 4 adults from Grace will be headed to New Orleans in July, along with other ELCA youth from across the USA, to learn how we are Created To Be God's people!

Hydrangeas

There are 8 Hydrangeas left that were displayed on Easter.

If anyone would like to purchase one or more, they are $15.00 each. Please let the office know. You can pick up your plant in the Fellowship Hall, while they last.

Plant Sale Coming Soon!

Are you getting ready to plant spring flowers and veggies?

Would you like those to come from a Master Gardener?

Would you also like to support our Youth?

Have we got a plant sale for you!

On May 5th, we will be selling a variety of flower and veggie seedlings, sprouted by our own Sabrina Blanks!

Pre-orders will be available as well.

MAIN STREET THEATER

Ever wonder what that group of actors rehearsing are doing?

Do you ever wonder what the Main Street Theatre does in the Fellowship Hall? Make plans to come and see our spring production. We are a group of local playwrights, actors and musicians who do original work. Come and check us out.

SENIORS@GRACE

April 25th Seniors@Grace will host the Bildge Rats Production program entitled "A Walk Down Memory Lane".

Our very own Raymond Zieverink runs this group of sailors who do a musical program that is sure to delight. They are all members of United Submarine Veterans INC. The lunch menu includes fried chicken with a variety of sides and dessert. We will gather at 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall with lunch at noon. The cost is $6.00 per person.

Grace Outreach Partnerships

We will be announcing our 2024 partners in a special enews this week!

Biggest needs this week at HOPE:

Cereal, PB & J, grits,

pancake mix, syrup, oatmeal, condiments, pasta, diapers sizes 3 & 4, and wipes

Please make sure to check expiration dates!

During Lent we enjoyed soup suppers with some wonderful and different soups brought by members of Grace.

Hilary Mullins is collecting these recipes to share! If you are willing to share the recipes for these soups, please send them to her here. She is planning to collate them and create a Grace Souper Supper cookbook. Thanks for participating!
