Track & Field

• High School Track: Track pre-season begins today, Wednesday, January 17. We’ve communicated this through Big Teams and emails to families that have registered for Track this season. If you haven’t registered, you may still do so. The coaches for the high school team include Coach Martinez, Coach Hibbler, Coach Hanson, Coach Rogers, and Coach McCafferty.

• Track & Field season practice schedule:
• Monday @ SACS track from 6:00 – 7:30 PM
• Tuesday @ GHNO Field/Gym from 3:30 – 4:45 PM
• Wednesday @ SACS track from 6:00 – 7:30 PM
• Thursday @ GHNO Field/Gym from 3:30 – 4:45 PM
• Saturday @ SACS track from 9:00 – 10:30 AM

• Middle School Track: Middle school track season begins on Monday, 2/5/24. The practice schedule will be the same as the high school practice schedule.
• Coaches: Coach Martinez, Coach Melo, Coach Jackson, and Coach Williams

Baseball

• High School Baseball: Practice begins on 1/19/24 with a meeting in the Black Box at 3:30 PM. If weather permits, we’ll meet for 30 minutes and then go to the cage for a few drills for 45 minutes. 

• The typical weekly practice schedule is as follows:

• Monday @ Capitol Park from 4:15 – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday @ Capitol Park (until games start) from 4:15 – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday @ GHNO Weight Room and Cage from 3:30 – 5:30 PM
• Thursday @ Capitol Park from 4:15 – 6:00 PM
• Friday @ GHNO (until games start) from 1:30 – 3:00 PM
• Saturday (optional hitting) @ GHNO from 10:00 – 11:30 AM
• Coaches: Coach Ladd and Coach Thomas Woods

• Middle School Baseball: Practice/tryouts begin on Tuesday, 2/6/24. Practices are planned for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Practices will be right after school at either St Mark’s, Capitol Park, or the GHNO batting cage.
• The coach will be Coach Hauger.

Softball

• Middle School and High School softball will practice together beginning on Tuesday, 2/6/24. 
• Practices will be held at St Mark’s, Capitol Park, or the GHNO batting cage.
• The coaches will be Coach Korkus and Coach Nealous.
