Upcoming Webinars

November 22: Susie Burnett, MS EMT-P
Can you remember a patient you were treating who suddenly arrested right in front of you? When that happened, did you recognize that it was about to happen? If so, what signs and symptoms tipped you off? A study was just published which asked EMS clinicians who witnessed out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCA). Join to hear directly from the study author.

November 29: Daniel Davis, MD - Intubation in TBI Patients
Pre-hospital intubation of patients, specifically those with TBI, has been discussed for years and a recent publication and follow up commentary by Dan Davis, MD were recently published in PEC. Dr. Davis will join us to discuss several key points regarding TBI intubation.

December 6: Nick Ashburn, MD (Epinephrine in Cardiac Arrest)
Cardiac arrest guidelines recommend epinephrine every 3–5 minutes during cardiac arrest resuscitation. However, it is unclear if multiple epinephrine doses are associated with improved outcomes.
A recent study by Ashburn et al. was published seeking to determine if a single-dose epinephrine protocol was associated with improved survival compared to traditional multi-dose protocols.

December 18: Michael Hubble, PhD (ETCO2 in OHCA)
Should we be delaying defibrillation until a minimum ETCO2 is reached with CPR? Join us to learn more about this important topic from Study Author Michael W. Hubble from the Department of Emergency Medical Science, Wake Technical Community College, Raleigh, North Carolina.

*CME available for the FL EMS Webinar via Memorial Healthcare System.
