Learn how to paint watercolors using the wet into wet technique and to control this wonderful, yet unpredictable medium. Manage your paint, pigment, and water to achieve soft, diffused edges and dynamic color. Regulating the ratio of water to pigment is the key to painting in this style that encourages happy accidents and random effects. Students will achieve bold, brightly colored, flowing watercolors. Try your hand at painting a lovely lighthouse, a rich deep bouquet of flowers, or a country market. Some experience with watercolors, drawing, and design is recommended. Materials list to be provided.
