We had an amazing weekend retreat at Camp Don Lee last weekend with 52 youth, 8 adult chaperones, 3 college chaperones, 1 Duke Intern, and a guest speaker. We talked about what it looks like to live a life TRANSFORMED - a life filled with Faith, Hope, and Love. Through worship, small groups, sailing, archery, canoeing, and free time, these youth were invited into deeper relationships with each other and with Jesus Christ. Our youth band led music for all 4 worship services and blew me away with their musical talent and their ability to bring us into the presence of the Holy Spirit. My heart is full and I can't wait to see what God will do in the lives of all of our young men and women. Thank you to all of our chaperones who willingly gave their time to help these young people grow in their faith! It takes a village and I am so happy you are all a part of this one. -Pastor Sarah
It was Kids Ministry’s turn to pack Operation Christmas Child boxes on Sunday night. Pastor Patrick shared his personal experiences of being with children that had received a Christmas box. If you are packing at home you we ask that you bring your gift to the church by this Sunday.
