Joint Session Between the Planning Commission and City Council
City Council held a joint meeting with the Planning Commission during the regular session scheduled on Tuesday, November 15 in Council Chambers. A presentation was given on connecting direction and decision-making to the City’s strategic and comprehensive plans. Discussions between the Planning Commission and City Council were informative and productive.
A public hearing was held to discuss a preliminary development plan for Summit Orchards West located at 700 NW Ward Road. The proposed preliminary development plan consists of 323 dwelling units on 24.7 acres. Following the public hearing, City Council gave initial approval to the preliminary development plan.
