Announcements

Update From the Parent Group May is Staff Appreciation Month!

Last week, we welcomed Chef Stephen Coe to school on Friday morning to make omelets-to-order for staff. Thank you, Chef! And we are organizing more activities this month to express our gratitude for our Rising Tide staff, including a small gift, a baked potato bar, and a frozen treat.  Everything is listed in our Sign Up Genius -- Click to see what you can do to help.

We know how busy everyone is these days -- please know that you can donate funds toward these efforts if shopping and dropping doesn’t seem possible this month. (We hear you!) Donations in any amount can be made to Staff Appreciation activities via your My School Bucks account. Click on View All in the Store, you will see the Rising Tide Parent Group (not Rising Tide SEPAC or the general school Donation), click there, and enter your donation.

We would love to have every Rising Tide family participate in some way to help us say THANK YOU to our thoughtful and dedicated middle and upper school staff. Thank you for helping show our Rising Tide staff how grateful we are for all they do for our children! If you have any questions, please email us at RTCPSParentGroup@gmail.com.

Upper School Field Day is This Wednesday

It’s National Charter Schools Week!

Today marks the first day of National Charter Schools Week, an annual week to honor the 8,000 charter public schools, 251,000 dedicated teachers, and hundreds of lawmakers who serve and advocate for our scholars each day. In partnership with the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools and the charter public school community nationwide, this week-long celebration encourages everyone to raise their voice for high-quality public education options for all children.

The theme of this year’s National Charter Schools Week is Raise Your Voice.

Please take 5 minutes now to share how your charter public school has transformed your life, your child’s life, or your community. You are welcome to share a video message, a written message, and/or a photo.

Seniors, Please Share Your Future Plans

We invite all Rising Tide seniors to share your future planning news. Please email announcements and photos to Martha Popoloski at mpopoloski@risingtide.org. Announcements might include college acceptances and intended majors or other final post-Tide plans. In the past, photos have often shown students sporting their college gear or holding up an acceptance letter. We know decisions are still rolling in and financial awards are not yet finalized, so feel free to share updates whenever you have the chance.
