Dear Families of the MS 104 Community:

I want to take this opportunity to wish our entire community a Happy Thanksgiving. I am extremely grateful for to work alongside all of our students, staff members, and families each day and feel lucky to be part of such a wonderful community. I hope everyone gets to enjoy time with their loved ones and has a restful and relaxing holiday.

November School Leadership Team Meeting on Tuesday, November 29th

We will be holding our November School Leadership Team meeting next Tuesday, November 29th at 7:30 AM. This meeting will be virtual. Members of the community may attend the meeting as observers.

You must pre-register for this meeting here in order to attend.

BRRR-UCH Winter Celebration on Wednesday, December 21st!

I am excited to announce that our next celebratory student event, the BRRR-UCH Winter Celebration, will take place on Wednesday, December 21st! This will be an indoor event with each grade getting 90 minutes of fun in our cafeteria and gymnasium. There will be a DJ, two photo booths, tabletop games, arts and crafts, and a candy station!

As always, many adults are needed to make large events such as these happen. Next week, the PTA will be sending out a link to enlist volunteers to support the BRRR-UCH celebration. There will be various time slots to choose from, and parents can sign up for one or more time slots if they wish! I hope you will consider volunteering for the event. Without the requisite amount of volunteers, we will be unable to make available the full menu of activities we have planned. As I have said before, volunteering at PTA sponsored events are as valuable a contribution as one can make to our school community. Your support is greatly appreciated!

We look forward to another fun event for our students!

Winter Strings Concert on Thursday, December 15th!

Our first music concert of the year is scheduled for Thursday, December 15th at 5 PM! The concert will feature Mr. Klonowski's seventh and eighth grade strings students and the Chamber Orchestra.

All students and families are welcome and encouraged to attend this wonderful event.

Estimadas familias de la comunidad MS 104:

Quiero aprovechar esta oportunidad para desear a toda nuestra comunidad un Feliz Día de Acción de Gracias. Estoy extremadamente agradecido por trabajar junto a todos nuestros estudiantes, miembros del personal y familias todos los días y me siento afortunado de ser parte de una comunidad tan maravillosa. Espero que todos puedan disfrutar del tiempo con sus seres queridos y que tengan unas vacaciones tranquilas y relajantes.

Reunión del equipo de liderazgo escolar de noviembre el martes 29 de noviembre

Tendremos nuestra reunión del Equipo de Liderazgo Escolar de noviembre el próximo martes 29 de noviembre a las 7:30 a.m. Esta reunión será virtual. Los miembros de la comunidad pueden asistir a la reunión como observadores.

¡Celebración de invierno BRRR-UCH el miércoles 21 de diciembre!

¡Estoy emocionado de anunciar que nuestro próximo evento estudiantil de celebración, la celebración de invierno BRRR-UCH, se llevará a cabo el miércoles 21 de diciembre! Este será un evento bajo techo y cada grado tendrá 90 minutos de diversión en nuestra cafetería y gimnasio. ¡Habrá un DJ, dos cabinas de fotos, juegos de mesa, manualidades y una estación de dulces!

Como siempre, se necesitan muchos adultos para que grandes eventos como estos sucedan. La próxima semana, la PTA enviará un enlace para reclutar voluntarios para apoyar la celebración de BRRR-UCH. ¡Habrá varios intervalos de tiempo para elegir, y los padres pueden inscribirse en uno o más intervalos de tiempo si lo desean! Espero que usted considere ser voluntario para el evento. Sin la cantidad necesaria de voluntarios, no podremos poner a disposición el menú completo de actividades que hemos planeado. Como he dicho antes, ser voluntario en los eventos patrocinados por la PTA es una contribución tan valiosa como la que uno puede hacer a nuestra comunidad escolar. ¡Su apoyo es muy apreciado!

¡Concierto de cuerdas de invierno el jueves 15 de diciembre!

¡Nuestro primer concierto de música del año está programado para el jueves 15 de diciembre a las 5 p. m.! El concierto contará con los estudiantes de cuerdas de séptimo y octavo grado del Sr. Klonowski y la Orquesta de Cámara.

Todos los estudiantes y familias son bienvenidos y animados a asistir a este maravilloso evento.
