November 2022

Dear Friends,

At our recent Board of Trustees meeting, a wonderful panel of seniors shared their perspectives on their Muskingum experiences.

Each has taken on a significant campus leadership role, and each spoke about the impact these leadership opportunities have had on their lives, the lessons they learned as leaders, and how these positions have prepared them for the future.

Additionally, when asked by a Trustee why they chose Muskingum, all related that it was the personal connection they felt when first visiting the campus and meeting faculty and staff. Those relationships have continued throughout their time on campus.

We know that just like the Muskies who have come before them, their experiences here will shape their impact as alumni. This is why we do what we do - to build a Muskingum like always, and a Muskingum like never before!

Joining us were Student Senate President Gracie Andrews '23, Black Student Union President Casey Smith '23, Resident Assistant and Homecoming King Jamar Hicks '23, Student-Athlete Advisory Council Co-Chair Kaylee Anstaett '23, and Greek Council President Caleb McManaway '23. We can't wait to welcome them to The Long Magenta Line!

With best wishes and many thanks for all you do for Muskingum,

President Sue Hasseler
