Los Altos Names June Du Director of Finance

The city of Los Altos announces the promotion of June Du to Finance Director effective Monday, October 3, who will oversee citywide financial activities and operations. She brings over 15 years of municipal finance experience, having held executive-level positions in the cities of Rio Vista, Willits, and San Pablo.

Agenda Available for Upcoming City Council Meeting

Listed in the agenda are all the items to be discussed during the Tuesday, October 11 meeting. This week's agenda includes a new policy that will establish a process for non-profit and civic organizations requesting funding contributions from the City Council. 

Los Altos Police Officers Participate in Walk to School Month

Los Altos Police officers escorted students on their walk to school to kick off International Walk to School Month; an annual celebration that encourages students to walk or roll to school and recognizes the importance of safe and active transportation. 

Upcoming City Facilities' Closure for Indigenous Peoples Day

City facilities will be closed on Monday, October 10, in recognition of Indigenous Peoples Day. Regular business hours will resume Tuesday, October 11.
